Cultural
Wedding
This is a wedding which take place in the interior cultural homes and
villages of the tribes the couple choose to be associated with. These
are usually common in Maasai land with foreign couples jetting into
Kenya and holding their wedding the traditional Maasai cultural style.
The Maasai elders are usually approached to administer and grace the
occasion with pomp and dance in the Maasai regalia. The villagers attend
as if one of theirs is wedding, bulls are slaughtered, local brews are
brewed and drunk as in a traditional wedding ceremony, the bride and
the groom are escorted to the wedding site dressed in Maasai wedding
regalia, songs of praise are sang and danced, traditional gifts are
presented to the newly wed and the occasion is graced by the village
elder. The newly wed are then escorted to the traditional Maasai hut
as is done the Maasai way before they depart to a nearby luxurious lodge
for overnight and honeymoon affair.

Beach
Wedding
A couple may wish to hold a weeding ceremony at a beach along the Indian
Ocean. Victoria Safaris undertakes the wedding preparations from start
to end as if you were in your home arranging the same with your friends
and relatives. The couple is booked in the beach hotel, the wedding
cake is baked and decorated within the beach hotel and the church minister
is called to administer the wedding ceremony in style, in the sea, by
the hotel or at the sea front. The couple is then offered a two (2)
days free full board accommodation by the hotel management, courtesy
of Victoria safaris.

As the wishes of other couples in the past have been, a wedding ceremony
is held and administered in the heart of the wildlife sanctuary amidst
the animal population, be it at the New 7th wonder of the world - Maasai
Mara at Governors' camp with an extension of a honey moon affair on
Mfangano island in lake Victoria. or at the Amboseli National parks'
Sopa lodge with an extension of a honey moon affair in Northern Tanzania’s'
Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro or Serengeti game parks. Use of a chopper
is preferred in this kind of a wedding.
Modern
English Wedding
This is a wedding organized in an African church, hotel or at a designated
place chosen by the couple. This type of wedding is done as the once
done elsewhere in the world. The couple wear their best with the parents
and friends of both parties attending and gracing the occasion .Limousines
are hired and the occasion is filled with pomp and dance. The newly
wed are showered with gifts, song and dance. At the end of the ceremony,
the couple leave for a honeymoon to a destination of their choice.
