This unique East Africa Tour takes you to the famous Maasai Mara Game Sanctuary where you are able to appreciate the richness of Kenya in terms of wildlife populations and diversity. The myriad antelopes that cover the Mara Plains are a wonder to behold as is the sight of numerous predators stalking these impala, tommy, wildebeest, waterbuck, hartebeest, buffalo, zebra and other herbivore. During the Great Migration of the Wildebeest in the months of June/July/August our clients experience the climax of game viewing in the African outback as hundreds of thousands of wildlife invade the Maasai Mara.

4 Nights Mara Tour, 5 Days Maasai Mara Safari

Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi
On arrival at the Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our Tours Manager who will brief you on your safari as you embark on your transfer from the Airport to your hotel in Nairobi. Dinner and overnight at five stars hotel in Nairobi. (Accommodation at Intercontinental Hotel, Nairobi Hilton, The Norfolk, Safari Park Hotel or Windsor Hotel)

Day 2: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
After breakfast, you are transfered to Wilson Airport for a 45 minutes charter flight to the famous Maasai Mara National Game Reserve. You will be picked up at the airstrip and enjoy a game drive through the park as you head towards your luxury tented camp. Arrive at your Luxury Camp in time for lunch, thereafter proceed for a late afternoon game viewing drive till dusk in the park, which is essentially the northern extension of Tanzania's Serengeti National Reserve as an artificial border only separates the two.

The Maasai Mara, The New 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.

Day 3: Maasai Mara( Full Day)
Early morning, pre breakfast game viewing drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Proceed for a full day of game viewing drives within the reserve with packed lunch..

Balloon Safari
Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon provided at extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Maasai Mara - Naivasha
After breakfast and a final game drive in Kenya's Wildlife Wonderland, depart the Maasai Mara for Lake Naivasha after lunch, arriving in this renowned Rift Valley lake, famous as the hub of the colonial white settlers, in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at one of the exclusive luxury Safari Lodges in the Lake Naivasha. (Accommodation at Lake Naivasha Shimba Lodge, Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar).

Steeped in colonial history, Lake Naivasha was the center of Colonial Kenya and the basis of the movie "White Mischief" that chronicles the goings-on of the early settler population after the Second World War when murder, wife snatching/swapping and cocaine sniffing was the order of the day among the aristocracy that settled on extensive ranches next to the lake. The traveler is able to understand why Lake Naivasha with its beautiful setting was chosen by these European adventurers as their headquarters after an overnight stay at a lodge on the shores of this Great Rift Valley Lake that is just one hour's drive away from the capital city of Nairobi.

Day 5: Naivasha - Nairobi
Early morning activities in Lake Naivasha takes you to Crater Lake one of the most beautiful sights in Kenya or Hell's Gate National Park for those whose wish to trek in this extraordinary sanctuary or an exploration of Crescent Island for those who wish to go boating on the calm waters of Lake Naivasha.

Crater Lake, tucked away in a hidden corner of Kenya's Great Rift Valley, offers a stirring encounter with the Africa of yesteryears, giving you a glimpse of the beauty that drew the early explorers to the continent of Africa, here you can partake of lunch in a floating restaurant in the beautiful emerald green lake and take a game drive in the Private Game Sanctuary that is part of Crater Lake.

After Lunch we depart for Nairobi which is reached in the early evening. You will be dropped at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your scheduled departure flight and a farewell dinner at the world famous Carnivore Restaurant.
