Various adventure camping itineraries are available from our offices and these offer the traveler low budget tours to the East Africa countries of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Though these trips are arranged by destination there is the possibility of combining safaris to enable you to seamlessly visit the three countries.

Maasai Mara and the Rift Camping Adventures - 5 Days (VSB - 447)

This budget tour takes you down the Great Rift Valley with its panorama of extinct volcanoes and long salty lakes, ascending the western rim of the valley and crossing the Loita plains of Maasailand to Maasai Mara game sanctuary where Kenya's highest density of wildlife is to be found. We continue to bird watchers' paradise of Lake Nakuru with its thousands of pink flamingos, pelicans and other bird species among other wildlife.

Day 1: Lake Naivasha
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift valley arriving at Lake Naivasha for lunch. Afternoon at leisure/optional boat rides/walk around as there are no predators. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park
Breakfast at Lake Naivasha campsite and depart for Lake Nakuru to Kenya’s greatest concentration of game maasai mara and the bird watchers paradise Lake Nakuru hosting thousands of pink flamingos and other bird species. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 3: Maasai Mara
Morning game viewing followed by breakfast and depart for Mara crossing the loita plains arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 4: Maasai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drive, Extend to the hippo point. In between meals there is optional visit to the Maasai villages ”manyattas”. (optional balloon safari). All meals and overnight at the campsite.

Day 5: Nairobi
Morning game drive followed by breakfast at the campsite and depart for Nairobi with game viewing en-route as you leave the park. Arrive Nairobi in the afternoon.
