This is a four days road luxury safari that takes you to some of the most magnificent places in Kenya. You will visit the Amboseli, Tsavo West and Taita Hills. You will travel privately in a 4x4 safari mini van and stay in five star wildlife lodges in utmost luxury.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi-Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival you will be picked from the airport by our qualified drivers who will leisurely drive you south from Nairobi across the Athi Kapiti plains and through Maasai homelands to Amboseli. You will arrive in Amboseli National Park in time for lunch at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Have an afternoon game viewing drive till dusk when return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli National Park is renowned for its huge elephant herds. Africa's highest Mountain - Mt Kilimanjaro sits on the upper slopes of Amboseli National park. Mt. Kilimanjaro’s snow white peak lies across the border in Tanzania. Seeing the Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For the enthusiastic photographer, animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the Elephants, Amboseli is a home to; buffalos, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest and other plain animals.

Day 2: Amboseli -Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, you will cross dramatic volcanic formations at Shaitani Lava flow to arrive in Tsavo West for lunch at Kilaguni lodge. Proceed for an afternoon game viewing till evening. Dinner and Overnight at Kilaguni Lodge. (105km, 2hrs)

Tsavo West lies on the West of the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, equidistant from Mombasa and Nairobi. The emerald hills, liquid lava flows, palm-fringed rivers, teeming wildlife and sparkling oases set against the unforgettable cloud –shadowed African Savannah. At the north of the park, water that has filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills gushes from below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools. You have an opportunity to view animals under water through a glass house. The scenic volcanic arena from the ‘Shetani’ Lava flow which is Swahili for ‘Devil’ and the Chaimu Crater, Lake Jipe, ridges, volcanic ash cones and rocky outcrops forms scenery like no other. Game viewing here is magnificent with herds of dust-red elephants, fat pods of hippo, giant crocodile, and teeming herds of plain game, a fantasia of bird life and some magical flora.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park-Taita Hills
After breakfast drive to the steep and fertile Taita Hills between Tsavo and Voi. You will be marveled at the natural and scenic beauty and richness of this great land. Lunch will be at the lodge. Have game viewing till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Taita hills lodge (90kms, 1 1/2hrs).

Day 4: Taita Hills- Departure
After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. You will be treated to a farewell lunch at a Mombasa City Restaurant before being transferred to the Moi International Airport, Mombasa or to Nairobi depending on your flight schedule.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli National Park
Drive to Amboseli on Kenya's southeastern border, noted for its magnificent views of Africa's highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park famous for its vast herds of elephants. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge / Oltukai Lodge/Lodge of your choice. (250kms 4hrs)

Amboseli lies to North West of Mount Kilimanjaro, on the border of Tanzania. Large concentrations of wildlife occur here in the dry season which forms an amazing site as they gracefully graze together while the predators watch them waiting for a catch. The park embodies five main habitats which are open plains, acacia woods, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland. It also covers a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli. The Park’s eye-catching scenery is dominated by the towering Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest Mountain in Africa rising at 5,896m above sea level. Its snowcapped summit dominates the landscape and on a clear day it is visible in the early morning and late afternoon. Namotir (the place of pottery) is an observation hill where there is a panoramic view of most of the park and a climb is worth the effort. Amboseli is home to over 80 different mammals ranging from the tiny and rarely seen spectacled elephant to the huge bulk of the African elephant, buffaloes, hippos and over 400 species of birds. Day 2: Amboseli National Park- Lake Naivasha
After an early morning game drive, breakfast will be served a t the lodge. Travel northwest to Lake Naivasha with Lunch in Nairobi.

Lake Naivasha is the highest of all the Rift Valley Lakes at 1880 m above sea level. This area is a birdwatcher's paradise with over 450 species of recorded birds in the area. A small islet on the lake is home to a number of game. One can enjoy a boat safari, viewing wildlife and birds from the tranquil lake. A private ranch (Kongoni Game Sanctuary) located in the area which is a home to lions, leopards, cheetah and some translocated Gravy’s zebras.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha- Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, drive southwest through the Great Rift Valley and into the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive in this spectacular wildlife theatre. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge /Mara Sarova Camp /lodge of your choice.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve, now the New 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture. It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. The park inhabits a great number of wildebeests migrating from Serengeti National Reserve, Tanzania. Their numbers are estimated in millions as this migration starts in July each year when over one million wildebeest along with large numbers of Thompson's gazelles, zebra and other herbivores migrate from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania in search of fresh pastures in the north and then back south again in October.

Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve (Full Day)
An opportunity to enjoy an early morning game balloon flight over the Mara, which includes a bubbly breakfast in the bush (optional extra), or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Lunch at the lodge is followed by an afternoon game drive, with possible sightings of the 'Big Five'.

Day 5: Maasai Mara-Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving around noon. You will b treated to a farewell lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant or similar before you are transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to the next destination.
