The park is the staging zones for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds.

The migration is undoubtedly one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles any where in the world and with a little luck we can get you right into the middle of it - sitting in a vehicle surrounded by 10's of thousands of wildebeest and all the accompanying noise is an experience you won't quickly forget. Getting you there is one of our main goals for your safari, so we spend a great deal of energy in trying to send you to the right places
